A message from the PFO President
Dear Dewey Families,
It is with a heavy heart that I must share some disappointing news. Unfortunately, due to a lack of support, we are unable to move forward with our annual Dewey Crab Feed and Auction this year. This event has been a cherished tradition and a key fundraiser for our school, supporting programs and resources that directly benefit our students.
This decision was not made lightly. Events like the Crab Feed require a dedicated team of parent volunteers to plan, organize, and execute. Without enough hands to help, it is simply not possible to bring this event to life.
We need your help to ensure the success of future events and initiatives. Being active in the PFO is crucial to fostering a strong school community and providing opportunities for our students. Whether you can spare an hour, lend your expertise, or take on a larger role, every contribution matters. Together, we can make a difference.
If you’re interested in learning more about how you can get involved, please reach out to us at deweypfo.com or attend our next PFO meeting on 2/10. Let’s work together to bring back the programs and events our students and families love.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Thank you,
Claire Thompson
