What is a Room Rep

​

The PFO Room Representative (Room Rep) is a parent volunteer that is led by the PFO Room Rep Liaisons. Each Dewey classroom has a PFO Class Representative who is dedicated to communicating PFO information, announcements, events, and volunteer opportunities to Dewey families via classroom emails.

​What does the Room Rep do throughout the year?

​

• Recruits volunteers for classroom parties and projects (Fall Festival, Annual Fundraiser Events and Auction)

• Plans and organizes decorations for teacher appreciation

• Assist classroom teachers with various classroom tasks

• Facilitates communication between parents, teachers and the PFO about events, activities, and classroom needs
