Serve on the PFO Board
Have you wanted to participate more? Think you could do something a little better?
We’re looking for you! Make your kids’ school a little better place!

The PFO Executive Board is made up of the elected officers, the school principal, and faculty representatives. Our Board works hard to support the school, the students, and the teachers, in order to support many educational programs and foster community with our Dewey Family.
Elected Officers

Every spring, we accept nominees for the following year’s PFO Officers – President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Ways and Means Chair, Classroom Representative Coordinator(s), and Scrip Treasurer.

The first step is the nomination of candidates for the executive positions. The nomination committee consisting of the school principal, one staff member, the current Vice President, and the current Secretary of the organization oversees the nominations and elections. If you are interested in serving in any of these positions (see descriptions below)—or know someone you think would be a good candidate—please contact the PFO by emailing pfoharrydewey@gmail.com. A nomination ballot will be sent electronically to solicit nominations and the final election will take place in the month of April.
