Shop with RaiseRight

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP, now known as RaiseRight, is a nationwide fundraising program that sells discounted gift cards to nonprofit organizations.

SCRIP Gift Cards Program turns everyday shopping into funds for Dewey. When families use retail gift cards to pay for everyday purchases (like gas and groceries) instead of the usual credit/debit card, a percentage of the funds go directly to our school.

Those funds will go to your child's teacher during the school year. During the summer, the funds go into your family account that will then be used for classroom expenses or field trips. Some families have paid for their entire 6th grade overnight field trips with their summer SCRIP funds!

Ways to use SCRIP

Let’s say you grocery shop at Raley's. You buy a Raley's card for $50 from the Dewey SCRIP program through RaiseRight. Dewey will receive 4% from the sale of that gift card. You go to Raley's and use the $50 gift card for your purchases. It’s that easy!

The gift cards are valid as long as a cash balance remains on the card.  E-cards are also available on the RaiseRight App or website.
